June 2017

  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-19287- Client was charged with sale of a controlled substance- We were able to get the charges dismissed.

May 2017

  • Lee co. case# 17-ct-744- Judge Paluck- Client had a bench warrant without a bond for failing to appear for court. He hired our office and we were able to get it removed!
  • Lee co. case# 17-CF-14178- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with bringing a gun to the airport in his luggage. We were able to get the charges dropped.
  • Lee co. case# 17-CF-15089- Client was charged with possession of marijuana over 20 grams, which is a felony. We were able to get the charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-19340- Judge Manaleach- Client was charged with resisting an officer with violence and possession of drugs. He was sent to drug court which will greatly assist in his rehabilitation and allow the the opportunity to earn a dismissal if he completes drug court.

April 2017

  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-18794- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with Resisting an officer with violence. We were able to get the case reduced to a misdeameanor and not have our client become a felon!
  • Lee co. case# 17-CF-14457- Judge Manaleach- Client was charged with grand theft and dealing in stolen property. We were able to get both counts dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-504185- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with a DUI. We were able to get the charge dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-19410- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with violating his probation by absconding from supervision. We were able to get him a short jail sentence and off of probation after negotating with the state about the reasons he absconded.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-15959- Judge Manaleach- Client walked out of treatment from the salvation army. We were able to get him community control (house arrest) and back out of jail after negotations with the state.

March 2017

  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-14587- Client was charged with a violation of probation by possessing a gun and drugs while he was on probation. The state attorney offered him 72 months in prison. We were able to get him reinstated to probtion after a long negotating process.
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-25103- Client was charged with battery. We were able to get the charges dropped.
  • Lee co. case# 16-cf-19336- Client was charged with introducing contraband into the state. We were able get the case reduced to a misdeameanor and kept him from being convicted of the charge so he could keep his license!
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-25986- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with resisiting an officer. The state originally wanted a year o probation because she had a rsubstantial criminal history. We were able to get the state to agree to time already served of two days in jail.
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-021383 & 16-ct-504884- Judge Swett- Client was charged with forth offense DUI, we were able to get it reduced after setting the case for trial. Client was offered 270 days in jail, we were able to get it reduced to time already served.
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-025365 Judge Swett- Client was charged with possession of marijuana and we were able to get it reduced to possession of paraphernalia. He was able to keep his license with the reduction.

February 2017

  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-902- Judge Swett- Clirnt was charged with possession of marijuana. Even though the client had a long history of charges, we were able to get the state to reduce the charge to possession of paraphernalia so he could keep his drivers license.

January 2017

  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-18092- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of battery. We were able to get the state to abandon all but one misdeameanor battery count and the others were dismissed!
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-25625- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with a battery. We were able to get the charges dismissed!
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-17432- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and tampering with evicence. We were able to get the tampering with evidence dismissed and anf firearm charge reduced to a misdeameanor weapon non-firearm charge.

He'll be able to get the case dismissed if he completes the drug court program!

December 2016

  • Charlotte co. Case# 16-CF-1043- Judge Mason- Client was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. We were able to get the charge reduced to a misdeameanor battery and get him time already served and no probation.
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-25157- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with resisting a police officer. We were able to get the charges dismissed!
  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-2348- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Were were able to keep her from being convicted.
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-25825- Judge Swett- Client was charged with a battery. We were able to get the charge dismissed!

November 2016

  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-502694- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with a DUI. We were able to get it reduced to a reckless driving keeping the DUI off of his record!
  • Collier Co. Case# 16-cf-16400- Judge Hardt- Client was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, possession of cocaine and marijuana. We were able to get the firearm count dismissed and the client received a probation sentence after we negotiated the case with the state!
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-865- Client was charged with selling alcohol to a minor. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-501446- Client was charged with driving without a valid license. We were able to get his case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-500546- Client was charged with a second offense DUI and driving on a suspended license after being involved in a seriuos traffic accident. His first was only three years ago. We were able to negotiate drug and alcohol treatment in a facility instead of him having to spend 45 days in jail.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-19502- Client was charged with burglary of a dwelling. After a year preparing the case for a possible trial, we were finally able to get the state to agree to no jail time and were able to keep our client from being a convicted felon!
  • Lee co. case# 14-ct-504971- Client had a warrant out for over two years for violating his probation. We filed a motion and a judge dismissed the warrant at the hearing without our client having to fly in from out of state!
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-16393- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with a robbery. We were able to reolve the case by keeping the client out of jail and keeping him from becoming a convicted felon.

October 2016

  • Case# 16-mm-86500- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with selling alcohol to a minor. We were able to get the case dismissed!
  • Case# 16-mm-846- Judge Gaglairdi- Client was charged with possession of snook out of season, possession of an oversized snook and not having the proper license to catch snook. We were able to get all three counts dismissed!
  • Case# 16-mm-23570- Judge Swett- Client was charged with resisting an officer. We were able to get the case dismissed!
  • Case# 15-CF-137- Judge Manaleach- Client was charged with grand theft. We were able to get the case dismissed.

September 2016

  • Case# 16-mm-285- Judge Hayward- Client was charged withpossession of drug equipment and the state wanted him to do 30 days in jail followed by a year of probation. After he hired our firm, we were able to eliminate all of the jail time and get his probation cut in half to six months.
  • Case# 16-ct-500474- Judge Swett- Client was charged with a DUI with property damage and leaving the scene of an accident. We were able to get the charge reduced to a reckless driving!
  • Case# 16-ct-1317- Judge Gonzalez- Client was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. When she had a public defender, the state was asking for 30 days in jail due to our client having a lenghty criminal record. After we took over her case...there was no more jail! She had to do 15 days in the Sheriff's work program and is able to terminate her probation as soon as she finished them!
  • Case# 16--ct-11620- Judge Swett- Client was charged with racing on a highway. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Case# 16-mm-22805- Judge Adams- Client was charged with petit theft. We were able to get the case dismissed!
  • Case# 16-ct-1286 & 16-ct--1287- Client was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license at the same time. We were able to get both cases dismissed!

August 2016

  • Case# 15-ct-504213- Judge Gill- Client was charged with a DUI over .15 after blowing a .182. After we litigated it, the state agreed to reduce the charge to a reckless driving and the client was able to keep his drivers license and to be able to travel to Canada!
  • Case# 16-ct-501186- Judge Swett- Client was charged with a DUI. We were able to get his case reduced to a reckless driving.
  • Case# 16-ct-1162- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with criminal racing on a highway. We were able to get the case dismissed!
  • Case# 16-mm-23768- Judge Adams- Client was charged with possessing a drug without a prescription. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Case# 16-ct-501370- Judge Adams- Client was charged with drivig on a suspended license. We were able to get the case dismissed!
  • Case# 16-ct-100190- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. We were able to get his case dismissed!
  • Case# 16-Cf-15799- Judge Starnes- Client was charged with burglary of a structure and grand theft. We were able to get him nine months of probation and were able to keep him from becoming a convicted felon!
  • Case# 16-CF-209- Judge Porter- Client was charged with dealing in stolen property; Burglary of a conveyance Grand Theft and False verification to a pawnbroker. We wera able to get the dealing in stolen properties dismissed and kept her from going to jail and from being a convicted felon! She only received 24 months of probation.
  • Case# 16-CF-15126- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. We were able to negotiate a non-conviction, which helped her keep her drivers license!
  • Case# 16-mm-21649- Judge Adams- Client was charged with possession of marijuana. We were able to get the charge dismissed!
  • Case# 16-CF-183 and 14-CF-18233 (VOP)- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with Robbery with a weapon and violating his probation. We were not only able to secure a non-prison sentence, but get him out of jail with community control (House arrest)!
  • Case# 16-mm-761- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with resisting a police officer. We were able to get him only a fine and no probation.
  • Case# 16-CJ-4672- Judge Branning- Client was charged with aggravatred batterywith a weapon. We were able to convince the prosecutor to drop the count to a misdeameanor battery, where she only was punished with probation!

July 2016

  • Case# 15-CF-15150- Judge Porter- Client was charged with violating his probation and scored out to a minimum of 31 months in prison. We were able to get his probation modified and put back on probation after he completed a drug class and not sent to prison.
  • Case# 15-CF-15721- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with trafficking in cocaine over 400 grams. If he would have been convicted as charged; He would have been required to serve 15 years in prison. We were able to get his case dismissed after over a year of litigating the case!
  • Case# 15-MM-26176- Judge Gonzalez- Client was charged with trespassing on private property. We were able to get his case dismissed.
  • Case# 16-CT-261- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Case # 15-CF-000107- Judge Kyle- Client was convicted of larceny theft over $50,000. We were able to convince the court to keep her out of jail, despite the state's recommendation of at least six months in jail.
  • Case# 16-ct-1286- & 16-ct-1287- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident. We were able to get both cases dismissed.

June 2016

  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-16429- Judge Fuller- Client was charged aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CT-885- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with a criminal charge of attaching another vehicle's tag to his vehicle.
  • Charlotte co. case# 15-CF- 971- Judge Mason- Client was charged with a violating his probation by getting chagred with two counts of dealing in stolen property. We were able to get his probation modified and get him out of jail.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CT-3885- Client violated probation by getting arrested on a new felony charge. We were able to get her out of jail with time served on the violation.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-15576- Judge Kyle- Client was charged possession of a controlled substance and driving with an unnapproved license. We were able to get both charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-16160- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with possession of a controlled substance. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-MM-24698- Judge Adams- Client had a vop where probation and the state requested 90 days in jail. We were able to negotiate where he would only get the 52 days he had already served in custody and got him off of probation in the case.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CT-502104- Judge Swett- Client had a warrant for violation of pre-trial services for a dirty urine and the judge asked for a no bond hold. We were able to convince the court to reinstate his pre-trial service screens and get him out of jail.

May 2016

  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-500993- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with a DUI. We were able to get the case dismissed!
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-15126- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and paraphernalia. We were able to get all of her charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-15799- Judge Porter- Client was charged with burglary of a conveyance and Grand theft. We were able to get all of his charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-14609- Judge Manaleach- Our client was pregnant, facing a VOP. Her public defender told her the state was offering a year in jail followed by more probation. We were able to get her out of custody within two weeks out on house arrest. We also were able to get her termination date moved up several months.
  • Lee co. case# 15-MM-1285- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with a violation of probation on a possession of paraphernalia. We previously had the charge reduced from a marijuana charge. Probation recommended 180 days in jail. We were able to get the probation modified and the jail time reduced to 30 days.

April 2016

  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-17130- Judge Manaleach- Our clients probation officer recommended 60 months of prison for our client for a violation of probation. We were able to negotiate less than a year of house arrest before a hearing was necessary.
  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-24769- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. We were able to get the marijuana dismissed and no jail time on the paraphernalia. He was able to keep his driver's license.
  • Lee co. case# 15-ct-3341; 15-ct-3342- Judge Adams- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license and attaching a tag from another vehicle. Both cases are dismissed after he hired our firm.
  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-24500- Client was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. We were able to get the possession of marijuana dismissed even though he had an extensive criminal history.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-859- Client was charged with grand theft and sitting in custody at the jail. We were able to move her court date up and get her out of jail with two business days of her family hiring us and kept her from being a convicted felon!

March 2016

  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-14600- Client was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant female and breach of peace. We were able to get all charges dismissed after he hired our firm.
  • Lee co. case# 15-ct-504097- Client was charged with allowing an unauthorized driver to drive. After he hired us, we were able to get his case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 16-mm-35- Client was charged with violating an injunction put against him. We were able to get the case dismissed after he hired our office.
  • Lee co. case# 15-ct-503949- Client was charged with a DUI. We had her charge reduced to a reckless driving and No DUI on her record.

  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-24528- Judge Swett- Client was looking at 180 lee co. jail before hiring us. We negotiated a re-instatement of his probation instead and was released two days after hiring us.
  • Lee co. case# 16-CF-15006- Judge Manaleach- Client was charged possession of cocaine and three other crimes. We were able to get all counts dismissed after hiring us.
  • Lee co. case# 16-ct-500612- Judge Hayes- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license. We were able to get the case dismissed after he hired us.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-17730- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership to a pawnbroker. After the State offered him jail time plus four years of probation, we were able to get the dealing in stolen property dropped; No jail time and the probation lessened to 18 months. He also was not convicted of the charge.

February 2016

  • Lee co. case# 15-MM-000912- Judge Adams- Client was charged with Possession of marijuana. After hiring us, we were able to keep the client from being convicted. He was able to keep his driver's license.
  • Lee Co. case# 15- CT-002606- Judge Adams- Client charged with Unauthorized person to drive. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee Co. case# 15-MM-001209- Judge Thompson- Client charged with Possession of marijuana. After being hired, we were able to get the charge dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-15228- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with Possession of marijuana. We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-15927- Judge Hayes- Client was charged with dealing in stolen property, grand theft and false verification of ownership of property. We were able to get the charges dismissed after she hired us.
  • Lee co. case# 15-MM-020188- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with battery. After client hired Attorney Edwards, we were able to get case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-MM-023262- Judge Gonzalez- Client was charged with battery. After he hired us, we were able to get his case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-016851- Judge Fuller- Client was offered 364 days in the Lee County jail, for a violation of probation. After being hired we were able to negotiate a deal to modify his probation and he was released from custody.

January 2016

  • Lee co. case# 15-CT-504246- Judge Hayes- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license. After he hired us, we got his case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-17947- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with burglary of a dwelling, dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership. We had the burglary and dealing charges dropped and he received a short term of probation for the false verification charge. We were also able to keep him from being a convicted felon!
  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-384- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with a violation of his community control (house arrest) for not being home when he was supposed to. His GPS showed him outside of his house. We were able to get the warrant dismissed.
  • Charlotte Co. case# 14-CF-2249- Judge Richards- Client was charged with a life felony burglary of a home with a battery. We were able to get the charge reduced four levels to a third degree felony. No jail time and only probation. We were also able to keep him from being a convicted felon!

December 2015

  • Charlotte co. case# 15-CF-928- Judge Mason- Client was charged with possession of a controlled substance. We were able to get his charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-153- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with a possession of a firearm by a convicted felon- They had his fingerprints on the gun and he was facing a mandatory 36 months in prison. We were able to get his prison time in half to 18 months.
  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-1209- Judge Swett- Client was charged with possession of marijuana. His case dismissed after he hired us.
  • Lee co. case# 15-ct-503792- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license. His case was dismissed after he hired us.
  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-658- Client was charged with possession of marijuana. We were able to get the charges dismissed.

November 2015

  • Lee c. case# 15-mm-02404- Judge Gonzalez- Client was charged with resisting without violence. After he hired us, we were able to get his warrant set aside without going to jail, and later his case dismissed!
  • Lee co. case# 15-ct-000635- Judge Swett- Client was charged with a hit and run leaving the scene of an accident and we were able to get the charges dropped.
  • Collier co. case# 15-mm-768- Judge Murphy- Client was charged with violating an injunction. His case was dismissed after her hired us and informed the prosecutor of many facts they were not aware of.
  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-024978- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with a domestic violence battery. After she hired us we were able get her case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-018273- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of marijuana. We were able to get both charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-000146- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with burglary of a dwelling. After months of negotiating and depositions, we were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-24978- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with a misdemeanor battery. Charges were dismissed after she hired us.

October 2015

  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-19818-Judge Steinbeck-Client was charged with possession and sale of marijuana. After hiring us. We got the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-19328-Judge Fuller-Client was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and robbery with a weapon. He scored to 59 months of prison as a minimum, we negotiated the charges down to an agg assault. We were able to get him no jail time with 36 months probation. We also kept him from being a convicted felon.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CT-501326-Judge Hayward-Client was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. After he retained us we got the charges dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CT-26754- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with a DUI after blowing a .115. We were able to get the charge reduced to a reckless driving.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CT-503626- Judge Gonzalez- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license. After we were hired, we were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 15-CF-014959- Judge Porter- Client was charged with a Felony 3rd Offense DUI. After we were retained we got it reduced to a misdemeanor.

  • Lee. co. Case# 14-mm-26754- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with possession of marijuana. We were able to get the charge reduced to a possession of paraphernalia. He was able to keep his license and did not lose his license for a year as drug charges mandate.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-25703- Judge Swett- Client was charged with violating his probation by consuming alcohol and charged with battery. We were able to get his probation reinstated.

September 2015

  • Lee co. case# 15-CT-338-Judge Mann- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license. We got the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-429- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with sale of a controlled substance with 1000' feet of a church and1000' feet of a public park in a separate incident. She had a public defender and her offer was 48 months in prison. After she hired us, we negotiated it down to no jail time and 18 months of house arrest followed by 18 months of probation.
  • Lee co. case # 15-CF-16882- Judge Porter- Client was charged with grand theft . We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee. co case# 15-CF-16784- Judge Porter- Client was charged with stealing a taxi cab and getting into an accident as well as swindling a hired vehicle . We were able to keep him from being a convicted felon as well as no jail time and 12 months of probation.
  • Lee co. case# 12-CF- 14531- Judge Fuller- Client was arrested on a violation of probation and being held without bond. The state wanted to send her to prison for 24 months. We had her released on bond, than a few weeks later were able to convince the State to modify her probation to allow her to only have to wear a GPS until for 90 days. No jail time was required.

August 2015

  • Lee co. case # 15-mm-021295-Judge Hayes-Client was charged with battery . We were able to get the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case # 15-CT-501903-Judge Gonzalez -Client was charged with a 2nd DUI. We got the DUI dismissed and reduced to a reckless driving .
  • Lee co. case # 12-CF-17742-Judge Steinbeck-Client violated probation and the officer recommended 2 years in state prison. We were able to negotiate a reinstatement of probation and no jail time with house arrest only.
  • Collier co. case # 15-cj-251-Judge Evans- Client was charged with underage drinking. Client had a public defender and plead guilty which led to a 2 year driver's license suspension. After retaining our firm, we were granted a motion to withdraw the plea, his license was not suspended, and we got the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case # 15-ct-1229- Judge Swett- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license by a police officer. She missed her court date and had a warrant out for her arrest. We had the warrant recalled. We also had the charge reduced to driving on an expired license and no jail time or probation.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-429- Judge Steinbeck- Client had a $65,000 total in bonds for drug charges when they were represented by the public defender. After we were hired, we convinced the judge to reduce it to a total of $15,000 so our client could get out of jail.
  • Client was charged with two 'sale of a controlled substance' charges and being held on a total of $65,000 of bonds. We were able to get the bond reduced to $10,000 total and she was able to bond out.

July 2015

  • Lee co. case# 15-mm-80- Judge Hayes- Client violated his probation and the state offered him 270 days in jail when he had his public defender. After we were hired, we negotiated the deal down to 30 days in jail and had his probation modified .
  • Hendry co. case# 15-ct-197-Judge Cupp- Client was charged with a DUI with property damage . We were able to get the charge reduced to a reckless with no DUI conviction, no points and no DUI school .
  • Hendry co. case# 14-CF-480- Client was charged with possession of cocaine . After we filed a motion, the judge kept the felony off of her record, even though she had four prior felonies. She was able to keep her driver's license !

June 2015

  • Lee co. case # 15-CF-14276-Judge Steinbeck-Client charged with burglary of a dwelling and aggravated assault . After client retained our firm, we negotiated the burglary and got it reduced to a trespass, client received no jail time and we negotiated with the state for 24 months' probation. We were able to keep the client from being a convicted felon.

  • Lee co. case# 15-ct-197- Judge Cupp- We represented the defendant in this matter and we had three counts of DUI dismissed.

January 2015

  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-337- Judge Fuller- Client was charged with burglary of a dwelling and theft. He scored out to nearly two years in prison. We were able to convince the prosecutor to reduce his burglary to a misdemeanor trespass and dismiss the theft charge . Also, no jail time.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-628- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with six separate misdemeanors. Probation was negotiated with no jail time even though the state originally was asking for 270 days in jail!

December 2014

  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-26167- Judge Gonzalez- Client was charged with a battery . Case was dismissed after she hired our office.
  • Lee co. case# 11-cf-18734- Judge Mark Steinbeck- Client was charged with his third violation of probation. His offer with the public defender was 36 months in prison. We were able to get him out of jail and a new period of probation.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-14537- Judge Margaret Steinbeck- Client violation probation by failing a urine screening. We were able to get his probation modified to get him out of jail and keep him from being a convicted felon.

November 2014

  • Lee co. case# 11-CF-18734- Judge Mark Steinbeck- Client was looking at a 36 month prison sentence before hiring our firm. We kept him out of prison altogether by getting his probation modified.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-25401- Judge Hayes- Client was charged with a battery . Case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-25108 and 13-CF-16604- Client was stuck in jail on a VOP with his new charge . After he hired our office, we had his new case dismissed within a couple of days and negotiated the termination of his probation violation so he could get out of jail.

October 2014

  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-14587- Judge Mark Steinbeck- Client was charged with Armed Robbery with a firearm. That charges comes with a 10 year mandatory prison sentence. We successfully negotiated no prison. One year in jail followed by five years' probation. We also were able to keep him from being a convicted felon!
  • Lee co. case# 11-CF-20220 and 14-CF-14699- Judge Margaret Steinbeck- Client scored out to nearly three years in prison. We were able to get him probation on his new charge and his old probation modified so he could finish that probation.

  • Lee co. juvenile case- Judge Thompson- Our client was charged with possession of paraphernalia for the second time in a few months. We were able to get the case dismissed.

September 2014

  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-19614- Judge Margaret Steinbeck- Client charged with selling/manufacturing synthetic drugs . He was a codefendant in the "Breaking bad" television show case. We were able to keep him from being a convicted felon and no jail time, only probation.
  • Lee co. case# 08-CF-17803- Judge Margaret Steinbeck- Client had a violation of his probation for not being able to pay his restitution. We ended up continuing the violation until he could pay the negotiated amount and had the warrant dismissed after the amount was paid . Client was able to be deemed to have successfully completed probation.
  • Lee co. case# 14-ct-501173- Judge Hayward- Client blew over a .15 in a DUI case. We still were able to convince the state to reduce it to a reckless driving.
  • Lee co. case# 14-ct-502110 & 14-ct-503015- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license in the earlier case#. After getting her probation violated for another driving on a suspended charge, we got her time served on both and back onto probation.
  • Lee co. case#'s 14-ct-2673, 14-ct-503124- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license on consecutive days. We got one dismissed and the other case reduced.

August 2014

  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-14659- Client was charged with a violation of probation and the state was asking for 72 months in prison. We were able to convince the judge to cut that in half to 36 months.
  • Charlotte co. case# 13-CF-901- Client was charged with trafficking in cannabis after over 150 pounds of cannabis was found in a home he was at. We convinced the prosecutor to lower the charge from a first degree felony to a second. It also saved our client the $25,000 mandatory fine that comes with a trafficking conviction. Client also was granted a supersedeas bond after our plea agreement allowing him to not have to go to prison pending an appeal.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-541- Client was charged possessing alcohol by a person under 21. We convinced that prosecutor to dismiss the case.
  • Lee co. case# 14-ct-2398- Client was charged criminally with failing to register a motor vehicle . We convinced the prosecutor to drop the case.

July 2014

  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-14260- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with violating his injunction on an aggravated stalking charge. The prosecutor was offering four years in prison when the public defender's office had the case. After he hired us we negotiated a sentence of less than one year.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-176- Judge Adams- Client was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Client was offered 10 days in jail to plea as charged when he used the public defender's office. We successfully negotiated no jail time as well as dismissing the marijuana charge saving him from getting his license suspended for two years.
  • Lee co. case# 14-mm-20542 and case# 14-mm-295- Client was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor twice in less than three weeks. We were successful in getting his earlier case dismissed and not convicted of his second charge with no probation that can be typically required for a second offense.

June 2014

  • Lee co. case# 14-CT-500351- Judge Swett- Client was charged with a DUI. Charge reduced to a reckless driving.
  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-387- Judge Kyle- Client was charged with scheme to defraud over $100,000. The state statute required a 10 year minimum prison sentence. We negotiated a sentence of 30 months prison instead of the 120 months required by statute.
  • Lee co. case# 13-mm-26646- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with petit theft. We got the case dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 14-CF-14234- Judge Steinbeck- Client was charged with possession of a controlled substance and four counts of possession of paraphernalia. We negotiated a plea to a single count of possession of paraphernalia and the felony was dropped.
  • Lee co. case# 13-mm-25831- Client was charged with a battery . Case was dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 13-CF-19383- Client was charged with Sale of cocaine and other controlled substances. All charges were dismissed after uncovering some issues with investigation.
  • Lee co. case# 09-CF-21101- Client was charged with a violation of his house arrest/community control. We had his supervision reinstated and he was released from jail .

May 2014

  • Lee co. case# 14-CF- 15374- Judge Margaret Steinbeck- Client was charged with five separate first degree felonies as well as four other third degree felonies. We were able to get all of the felonies dropped to misdemeanors.
  • Lee co. case# 11-CF-18252- Judge Hayes- Client was charged with six separate felonies. All charges were dropped!
  • Lee co. case# 13-ct-505900- Judge Paluck- Client was charged with a DUI. The charged was reduced to a reckless driving.
  • Lee co. case# 13-mm- 266117- Judge Gagliardi- Client was charged with a petit theft for a second time. Client was not convicted and we were able to get her probation finished only three months later earlier than first negotiated.
  • Lee co. case number# 13-CF-018988- Judge Porter- Client was charged with two dozen separate burglaries in nine separate cases after an identification from a police officer on the scene. We convinced the state that their ID was not good enough to give to a jury and all nine cases were dismissed.
  • Lee co. case# 12-mm-025848- Judge Gagliardi- Client violated probation with four separate violations. Client turned himself in on the violations and was released and probation terminated at his first court hearing only having to serve less than two weeks in jail.
  • Charlotte Co. case# 13-CF-2212- Judge Hawthorne- Client was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. We convinced the state to drop the charges to a simple misdemeanor battery with no probation.
  • Lee co. case# 14-ct-1723- Client was charged with driving on a suspended license . Charges were dismissed after she hired us.

April 2014

  • Lee co. case# 13-ct-505502- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with a third offense DUI - Charge dropped to a reckless driving.
  • Lee co. case# 13-ct-505536- Judge Hayward- Client was charged with DUI with property damage. We had her case reduced to a reckless driving with no probation, DUI school or other classes or penalties other than a fine and court costs.

  • Lee co. case# 10-CF-16852- Judge Steinbeck- State offered our client 24 months Department of Corrections for a VOP. After we negotiated with a supervisor, the state offered to modify his probation with no jail time.

February 2014

  • Lee co. case# 13-ct-505707- Judge Adams- Client hired us to represent him on a driving on a suspended license case on February 20th. We had his case dismissed the very next morning, after we went to court with him!
  • Collier co. case# 13-CF-819- Judge Manalich- Client was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case was dismissed after we conducted depositions.
  • Lee co. case# 13-mm-026439- Judge Adams- Client was charged with possession of marijuana. Case dismissed.
  • Charlotte co. case# 12-mm-1583- Judge Alessandroni- Client was facing up to one year in jail for a violation of probation because he stopped reporting to probation. We resolved his case with him only receiving a sentence of 8 days.
  • Lee co. case# 13-ct-503782- Judge Swett- Client was about to have his license suspended for five years as a habitual traffic offender when he was charged with driving on a suspended license. He got the charge amended so he kept license.

This rare result was because Mr. Edwards was able to convince the prosecutor and judge his client qualified for a little used exception to the general rule people have to be convicted if they plea to a second degree felony.
  • United States Federal court- Case # 2:12-104- Judge Steele-Our client was charged with Drug trafficking over 500 grams. His score sheet report gave him a prison sentence range of 70-84 months in the federal prison. After we personalized him to the court, the judge sentenced him to below guideline sentence of 24 months.

Major Felony Cases

December 2012- Lee co. case# 12-CF-019233- Judge Kyle- Our client was charged with aggravated manslaughter and scored out to nearly 10 years in prison. She ended up getting her charge reduced to culpable negligence with no jail or prison time; only probation.

May 10, 2012-Lee Co. Case# 11-CF-018316- Judge Reese- Mr. Sandoval was charged by the State with first degree burglary and sexual battery. Mr. Sandoval claimed to have permission to enter the house and all sexual activity was consensual. The jury must have agreed. He was found not guilty of the burglary and found guilty only on a misdemeanor battery on the sexual battery. He did not serve another day in jail after hiring our firm.

January 30, 2012 State of Florida v. Timothy Rumph 09-CF-661. - Mr. Rumph was charged with second degree murder after being sought after all over town by the "victim". Judge Duryea ruled that he was upholding our "stand your ground" motion for immunity and cleared Mr. Rumph of murder by dismissing his case.
